Potential and Durability are hidden, just like in real life. These qualities cannot be observed upfront but play a crucial role in a player’s development and longevity.
Offensive Leadership is a critical attribute that sets apart role players from stars and superstars.
Players with low Offensive Leadership may struggle offensively if asked to take too many shots, even if they excel in close, mid-range, or three-point shooting.
This attribute is calculated based on the player's tendencies, emphasizing their ability to lead an offense effectively.
In HoopVerse, the overall rating formula varies by position to reflect each player’s role on the court:
Guards (PG, SG): Focus on attributes like Passing, Three-Point Shooting, and Stealing to excel as playmakers and defensive disruptors.
Forwards (SF, PF): Strike a balance between all attributes, making them versatile contributors on both offense and defense.
Centers (C): Prioritize Defensive Rebounding, Blocking, and Close Shooting, allowing them to dominate the paint and protect the rim.
Some attributes, such as Offensive Leadership, Defending, and Clutch, are universally important and carry equal weight across all positions, ensuring they contribute meaningfully to every player’s performance.
