Preparing Your Team for Gameday
Success in HoopVerse doesn’t just depend on what happens during games—it’s all about how well you prepare your team in-between the action. From managing player health to fine-tuning strategies, every decision counts.

1. Monitor and Manage Player Energy
Energy Management:
Keep an eye on player energy levels to maintain peak performance and reduce the risk of injuries.
Rest players strategically to ensure they are fresh for key moments in the season.
2. Set Detailed Rotations
Custom Rotation Timeline:
Use the intuitive rotation timeline to set player minutes with precision:
Adjust Player Minutes: Resize the slots to allocate minutes for each player.
Delete a Rotation: Resize the slot to zero width to remove it.
Add a New Rotation: Click the + button on the right to insert a new slot.
Carefully managing rotations ensures your players are used strategically throughout the game and minimizes fatigue-related risks.

3. Handle Injuries Like a Pro
Injuries Are Part of the Game:
Injuries occur during matches and vary in severity, ranging from 1 game missed to a full season.
Your ability to prevent and manage injuries will play a crucial role in your success.
Risk Factors:
Fatigue: Players with low energy levels are more prone to injuries.
Durability Rating: Players with lower durability are at higher risk.
Play Involvement: The more frequently a player is involved in plays, the higher their risk of collisions, bad landings, or other injuries.
Injury Notifications:
Injured players’ cards will have a modified appearance, making it clear they cannot play.
You’ll receive a message in your inbox when the player recovers and is ready to reintegrate into your rotation.

4. Work on Strategic Focus
Fine-tune your team’s strategy by adjusting key tactical elements:
Pace and Style:
Decide whether to play a fast-paced, aggressive offense or a slower, more controlled game.
Offensive Focus:
Prioritize outside shooting to stretch the defense or attack the paint to exploit mismatches.
Defensive Approach:
Choose physical defense to pressure opponents but risk fouls, or opt for conservative defense to minimize penalties.

The Key to Winning
Effective preparation isn’t just about avoiding setbacks—it’s about making the most of every opportunity to get ahead. By managing player energy, preventing injuries, and crafting the perfect game strategy, you’ll position your team for success in every match.
