In HoopVerse, you don’t need to own a franchise to be part of the action. Instead, you can become a basketball mogul by building a player agency. Collect player NFTs, negotiate lucrative contracts, and earn passive income.
Contracts are the foundation of player agencies, and they have two key components:
Revenue Share:
The percentage of the team’s revenues that you’ll receive for your player’s contribution. You will get the corresponding amount of HoopCoins at the end of each season.
Contract Length:
The number of seasons your player will play for the signing team.
Finding a team with ambition and the potential to win championships is critical to maximizing your returns. When you receive an offer, you’ll be able to check the competition the team is in and assess its chances of success.
Keep track of offers to make sure you don’t miss any opportunities:
Check Your Inbox or Contracts Page: View new offers in the "Offers" tab.
Accept or Reject Offers: Review the details and decide based on your strategy.
To simplify the process, you can set auto-accept terms for your players:
Go to the Contracts Page.
Navigate to the Free Agent tab.
Locate the player you want to set terms for in the table.
At the end of the player’s row, click the three vertical dots and select Set Auto-Accept Terms.
Define Your Terms: Set your desired revenue share and contract length. Any offer matching these terms will be automatically accepted.
Becoming a player agent offers a flexible and rewarding way to participate in the HoopVerse ecosystem:
Generate Passive Income:
No need to manage a team—you can earn a steady income by securing profitable contracts for your players.
Build an Empire:
Expand your portfolio by managing multiple players and teams. Whether you already own a franchise or not, a player agency can grow your influence and wealth.
Contribute to the Ecosystem:
Allow other users to fill their rosters for cheap by offering them your players, fostering growth and mass adoption.
Start Small, Dream Big:
With a limited budget, you can rent a few players and gradually expand your roster using dividends from your contracts. Over time, you’ll build a competitive team and a thriving agency.
