Selecting your franchise

In HoopVerse, you choose an existing franchise in the ecosystem during the onboarding flow. You are able to see the current situation of each available franchise in the league. Will you choose a title contender or a team to rebuild?

Rebranding or relocating your franchise

After reaching level 3 at 300 XP, you'll receive a message for the Commissioner Alan Gold, telling you that you have the option to personalize your franchise. You may proceed whenever you want but after doing it, you'll have to wait at least 2 months to do it again.

You can choose to relocate or stay in the same city and only change your team branding (logo, name or colors). To relocate, choose a city on the 3D globe. The most popular cities cost more HoopCoins, so you might have to save before relocating to Paris, New York City or Los Angeles.

Then, you can define your new team identity:

• Team Name: Use a creative name in the style of NBA franchises (e.g., Paris Rats, Chicago Bulldogs, Hanoi Dragons). This helps build an immersive HoopVerse ecosystem.

• Team Colors, Logo, and Court Design:

  • Use our free AI tools to generate a slick design quickly.

  • You can also upload your own images if you prefer a custom look.
