😃Locker Room
The Locker Room page is where player relationships, personalities, chemistry, and promises come together. It adds a new layer of depth to team management that goes beyond tactics and statistics. Successful managers must now also navigate player emotions, expectations, and interpersonal dynamics.

🗨️ Player Chats
The Player Chat feature gives you direct, freeform communication with your players. Unlike scripted interactions or preset options, this system allows you to type whatever you want and receive dynamic, personalized responses. It adds realism and emotional depth to your role as a manager.

What It Is
Player Chat is a conversational system powered by advanced AI. You can speak to any player on your roster through a text interface. The system understands natural language and responds in character based on each player’s personality, mood, and current situation within the team.
There are no dialogue trees or limits. You choose your words, tone, and approach.
What You Say Matters
Your words have real consequences. Each conversation can affect two key areas:
Morale
A player’s morale represents their short-term mood and confidence. It influences their performance on the court.
✔️ Encouragement, praise, and support can raise morale ❌ Criticism, broken promises, or mixed signals can lower it
Players with high morale are more focused and productive in games. Low morale leads to inconsistency and frustration.
Trust
Trust reflects how strongly a player believes in you as a manager and how loyal they feel to the franchise.
✔️ Consistent honesty, transparency, and follow-through increase trust ❌ Lying, avoiding tough topics, or breaking promises can reduce it
High-trust players are less likely to demand trades, more willing to take on leadership roles, and more loyal during contract negotiations.
When to Use It
You can initiate a chat at any time, but certain moments are especially meaningful:
• After a tough loss • Before or after a trade • When a player is benched or promoted • After making or breaking a promise • When you want to build a relationship with a future star or aging veteran
There is a daily limit on how many messages you can send. When you've reached the limit, the player won't respond immediately. Instead, he will send you a message after a few hours when he's ready to continue.
Tips for Effective Communication
✔️ Consider each player’s personality before speaking ✔️ Use empathy during sensitive moments ✔️ Don’t promise things you cannot deliver ✔️ Keep track of what you said previously ✔️ Try building trust over time, not all at once
Players remember the tone of your conversations and will form opinions over the course of a season.
💬 Promises System
In conversations with players, you may give your word on certain topics such as playing time, future trades, or team objectives. These commitments are recorded in the Promises tab and tracked over time.

Core concepts
✔️ The Promises tab displays all pending, completed, and failed promises ✔️ Promises can include things like starting roles, increased minutes, trade requests, or making the playoffs ✔️ Fulfilling promises builds loyalty and morale ❌ Failing to deliver on promises leads to tension and a loss of trust
Players expect you to follow through. Their reactions depend on your ability to manage expectations realistically.
🔁 Team Chemistry
Team chemistry measures how well your players work together on and off the court. It directly impacts your team's in-game performance and is influenced by roster decisions and results.
What influences chemistry
✔️ Playing games together over time ✔️ Winning games consistently ❌ Frequent trades or major lineup changes ❌ Losing streaks or broken promises ❌ Conflicting personalities between teammates
A high chemistry score boosts team cohesion and performance. Low chemistry can cause breakdowns during games, poor morale, and reduced tactical effectiveness.
The chemistry panel offers real-time insight into what is helping or hurting your team’s cohesion.
🧠 Personalities and Compatibility
Every player in the game is assigned one of thirty personality types. These types are modeled on the Big Five personality traits and affect how players behave, communicate, and interact with teammates.
Key elements
✔️ The Compatibility Matrix allows you to see how players fit together ✔️ Strong personality matches improve chemistry ✔️ Poor fits can cap your team’s chemistry potential ✔️ Players aged 32 or older offer a Veteran Boost, helping to reduce interpersonal conflicts
Effective roster building now includes personality fit alongside ratings and roles.

📰 Trade Rumors and Player Reactions
Trade negotiations do not always remain confidential. Occasionally, discussions may leak to the press, and involved players may react emotionally.
What to expect
✔️ Players may send messages asking about rumors ✔️ Reactions can vary based on personality and relationship history ✔️ Trade-related promises may be triggered during conversations ✔️ Mishandling the situation can negatively impact trust and chemistry
These situations test your leadership and your ability to manage sensitive moments in the life of the team.
